Happy 4th of July! It won't be dark until after 10 tonight... hopefully we can make a dent in this ENORMOUS pile tonight.

50 Posts

I must say I am pretty proud of myself for sticking with this blogging thing. I found it extraordinarily helpful and therapeutic in the moving process but now it's become a nice journal of the adventures in our new frontier and a sometime place to document my creative accomplishments. Cheers to A MAD HOUSEWIFE! To 500,000 more!

things we've been up to

Strawberry shortcake at the Strawberry Festival in Burien... reminded me a lot of the 4th Avenue Street Fair in Tucson.

Construction outside of my house began last week. It's not as bad as I thought it would be... and pretty entertaining and fun for Henry to watch.

Larry's parents came for a visit. We did a lot in a short amount of time. They LOVED the weather!

And not nearly enough of this happened.

I love awkwardfamilyphotos.com

Oh, man, this one had me in hysterics today!

I'm collecting lint

to make you a sweater for Christmas. I'm a true recessionista. So, please clean out your lint trap and start saving your lint for me!

P.S. I'm kidding... and isn't this basket of lint yucky? And isn't this a stupid blog?

Big Boy

Henry, in the last few days, has been taking his responsibilities of a big brother very seriously. He loves to help Maggie walk and seems to have embraced his role more than ever. Finally.
